All About Coach Bri

Hi! My name is Brianna Calvano, and volleyball has been a big part of my life since I started playing in the 8th grade. I played throughout high school before continuing my volleyball career at Kean University, where I competed as a setter for all four years and was a starter for three seasons. During my sophomore and junior years, I helped lead my team to back-to-back NJAC Conference Championships, earning NCAA Tournament appearances both years. Throughout my collegiate career, I developed a strong understanding of the game from both a technical and leadership perspective, and I currently rank second in Kean volleyball history for career assists.
After my playing career, I knew I wanted to stay involved in the sport and share my experience with younger athletes. I have now been coaching volleyball for nearly seven years, working with athletes ranging from 8 to 18 years old. My coaching experience includes DIGS Volleyball Club and Redline Denver East Volleyball Club, where I have coached athletes at a variety of skill and competitive levels.
As a coach, I enjoy helping athletes improve their fundamentals, build confidence, and better understand the game. My goal is to create a positive and competitive environment where players are challenged to grow while still enjoying the sport and being a great teammate.
